L'institut des statistiques annonce jeudi 31 janvier lancer la publication d'un nouvel indice, réservé aux prix des logements neufs. Pour ce calcul, l'Insee s'appuie sur une enquête menée auprès des promoteurs immobiliers, dont les données sont collectées par le ministère de L'Ecologie, du Développement durable et de l'Energie.
La publication de l'indice des prix des logements neufs interviendra chaque trimestre.
L'Insee calcule déjà un indice des prix de logements anciens, en se référant aux enregistrements notariés.

Le Conseil d'État a donné raison à GDF Suez qui contestait le gel partiel des tarifs en 2011 et 2012. Dans ces conditions, les pouvoirs publics vont devoir procéder à un rattrapage tarifaire sur la facture du consommateur.

Le Premier ministre avait annoncé en juillet 2012 lors de la conférence sociale une révision des règles de revalorisation du SMIC. Objectif visé : garantir le pouvoir d'achat des salariés dont les rémunérations sont les plus faibles.
Au début du mois, le ministre du Travail, Michel Sapin, a confirmé la mesure et a annoncé un décret avant la fin du mois de janvier.
Selon diverses sources, le projet de décret a effectivement été transmis aux partenaires sociaux.
Plusieurs paramètres entrant dans le calcul du SMIC seraient modifiés.
Le ministère du Travail propose notamment d'indexer le SMIC sur l'inflation mesurée pour les ménages du "premier quintile de la distribution des niveaux de vie" (indicateurs de l'INSEE), et non plus sur l'ensemble de l'indice INSEE des "ménages urbains".
Une façon de mieux prendre en compte le poids des dépenses contraintes (loyer et dépenses d'énergie notamment) qui pèsent sur les ménages modestes.
En outre, le salaire minimum serait revalorisé sur la moitié du gain de pouvoir d'achat du salaire horaire moyen des ouvriers et des employés, et non plus des seuls ouvriers.
La Commission nationale de la négociation collective doit fournir sa réponse lors de sa prochaine réunion, le 28 janvier.

Le taux de rémunération du livret A, actuellement à 2,25 %, va passer à 1,75 % au 1er février prochain.C'est ce qu'a confirmé le ministre de l'Économie et des finances mardi 15 janvier, suite aux recommandations de la Banque de France.
Dans un communiqué du 14 janvier, cette dernière explique que « l'application du calcul automatique (NDLR : notamment basé sur la variation de l'indice des prix à la consommation) aurait conduit à fixer le taux du livret A et du LDD à 1,50 % ».
Toutefois, « afin d'éviter qu'un mouvement de trop grande ampleur ne soit mal compris par les détenteurs de ces livrets, Christian Noyer, gouverneur de la Banque de France, a considéré que des circonstances exceptionnelles justifiaient une dérogation à l'application de ces nouveaux taux ».
En conséquence, il a recommandé de fixer le taux du livret A et du Livret de développement durable (LDD) à 1,75 % et le taux du Livret d'épargne populaire (LEP) à 2,25 %.

Le ministre de l'Economie a indiqué ce matin au micro de RTL que le gouvernement allait suivre les recommandations de la Banque de France concernant la révision du taux du livret A. Celui-ci "sera bien à 1,75 %" au 1er février prochain.
Le taux du livret de développement durable sera également fixé à 1,75 %, celui du livret d'épargne populaire, à 2,25 %.
